Our Disney passes are getting ready to expire so Daisy and I went to Disneyland today to work on finishing off her autograph book. We were having unusually bad luck standing in line for characters then they would go on break, being told someone was going to be somewhere than they weren't, you know that kind of stuff. Anyways Daisy and I were sitting waiting for the Woody round up show and I asked a cast member what time Woody and Jessie would be back I got the answer of I dont know I just started at 1pm and she walked away. I sat there talking with people around me saying well that wasnt very "disney now was it?" People were saying Yeah I would expect that from another theme park but not magical disney. Then a young man asked if Daisy and I had ever been to the pixar disney parade? I told him no. He said make sure you go at 5:15pm and sit in the plaza asked for my daughters name and said Im going to make disney magical for you look for me I will be in the parade as a tall person. I asked him who? and he said just look for a tall person and I will look for you. Soooo of course we went and ohhh my goodness. He was one of the chefs from ratoulee. He picked us out of the crowd and all 8 tall stilt chef guys came over and surrounded Daisy and said Hi, here is our friend Daisy and blew her kisses. She was thrilled the crowd couldn't believe it... I couldn't believe it... Now that is the magical Disney I remember. I still have a smile on my face from ear to ear! Thankyou Chefs

The happiest place on earth

Theft Problem - IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM A FORMER VICTIM:
You've heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.
My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans. And then the thieves struck again.
My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favour of long skirts.
Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me next?
When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee! Those 'plastic' surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts -stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something 'lifted', look again - was it lifted from you?
This is happening to women everywhere every night.
WARN YOUR FRIENDS!
P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.
Thought this was too 'important' not to pass on Have a wonderful day - with a joy filled heart
These same thieves come in my closet and shrink my clothes! How do they do it????

Earthquake hits our house
Yep you guessed it! Every house on the street is fine. But the Millikens house took the blow! Thats Brian trying to get to the electrical box standing on the car. Ha Ha!! Just kidding! We are fine and well. It shook us pretty bad some pictures fell off the walls, all the dresser drawers were opened. I had enough time to call everyone under a door jam then I started thinking are we suppose to be under a door jam or in a bathtub....So I yelled everybody out of the house!!! Our garage door was jarred enough that the opener came off the spool so we have to have someone out to fix that. Just lovely! Always something with the Milliken madness.

Growing Kids Gods Way 4
The Fathers Mandate Chapter 4
Chidlren need to TRUST their fathers.
A moms arms are comforting but dads arms are secure. Neither time, age, nor gender should limit a fathers touch. Our children are never to old to be kissed, hugged, or held! If you fail to communicate your love through your touch you will leave behind a yearning heart that can be taken captive by anyone willing to give it attention. Many kids have all the material things of life but lack what they really need affection from their father. I truly believe my kids are not lacking there, My husband is always the biggest LOVER. He says even at the alter on their wedding day he is going to give them the biggest sloppiest kiss ever. ewwww!
* It is not fear of failure that holds a child back it is the fear of failing someone (usually dad) Let your child trust that you will remain loving and accepting even when he or she fails. View your child's failures as the first steps to success.
A father should breathe life into your children's dreams and goals.
Hot tip for the dads: Write your children a letter (especially the girls) they will cherish them forever. I have every letter my dad has written me. Whether they be post cards when he was stationed in Saudi Arabia, or a quick note written on a paper bag. At the study I was able to share one that I had on a cork board in my kitchen that said "so do you have any more jobs for me" My favorite part.... Love, Dad

Touch points of Love Chapter 3
This chapter talked alot about all of different love languages:
Words of encouragement: to express love by words of legitimate praise and recognition.
Acts of Service: Doing something special for another person that you know he or she is going to appreciate (hint hint...unexpectedly is nice Brian)
Gift Giving: a gift of value to them not necessarily something of value to you
Quality time: invest yourself in undivided attention to someone else
Physical touch: physical touch and closeness (duh most men)
I encourage you to learn yours and your love ones love language.... Your primary love language is how you show love and how you feel most loved when it is spoken to you. We all need to learn to speak it the way that is primary for the one receiving it. Think how discouraging it is to say "I love you" only to have it rejected time and time again.
To learn your childs love language you can give them a child friendly quiz found at www.growingkids.org
They say kids under 7 haven't found their primary love language. We tested Budd prior to taking the test he asked if we wanted him to answer like he really thought or in a godly (non selfish way) he tested high in gift-giving when we told him he questioned the "giving" part??? Ha!
Your family is so important. It should be a haven and the center from which love flows!
