District pinewood race was at the California Speedway!

District finals for the pinewood race were held at the California Speedway it was so cool!!!! He came in 1st for his Tiger division!! Wooo Hooo! Okay seriously who was more happy??? Look at them with their tool box full of tools for last minute details before check in!!! All the dads there were so NUTS! He was soooo happy...He won 3 races in a row! Here is his manager and fan club president!!

Shakespeare

Budd played Antonio, Curio, Valentine, and the Sea Captain in his classes performance of Shakespeare's 12th night...We were very very impressed!

Open House

I LOVE open house! My kiddos are always so proud to show off their work! WANTED!!!! We were quite pleased with these words to describe Daisy..But I wonder what words she really wanted to use??.

RV

So....We rented a VERY USED RV for our cub scout camping trip this year...What an adventure!!!! We have been wanting to purchase one but I wanted to try it out to see if I would get motion sickness and what the experience would be like...Lets just say it was quite the experience... The kids loved it and everyone seemed to find their way into our RV to eat, play, go to the bathroom, play games...I think if its privacy I'm looking for a tent is probably better suited...OUT, OUT, OUT!!! Stop eating chips in my bed!

BLOG Worthy...

This is so blog worthy...And since my blog is now my family diary for me to remember what happens through out the year so I can do a family yearbook (cherish bound...Ms. Tara!) I thought I would post. Brody had to write a book report for school...He is at the end of his school year so they are so done with homework and such...Here is what he wrote. First, a girl goes somewhere. Next, when she got there she was there. Finally, She liked it there. The End To say the least he did not even read the book.

My Dollhouse

My dad brought out my old dollhouse that I played with as a kid for my daughter to play with..He made it for me when I was her age...What a special treat for us both.

Hume Lake

I have wanted to experience Hume for years...Well we finally went up for a great Marriage Conference..It was wonderful and I cant wait to go back maybe to family camp anyone want to join us?!

Mother/ Son Sock Hop!

Boy does history repeat itself...I had to FORCE my date to go with me..Once he was there he had a great time...He was quite the gentlemen opening and closing my car door. Dancing the YMCA, a long ol conga line, and the macarena. We ended the evening with a bunch of friends and went out for ice cream..typical evening the girls (moms) sat and chatted why the boys ran around causing mischief.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day is the best day of the year! This year we went to the rose bowl flea market..Its huge and we always find all sorts of treasures.. I love being mommy to my kiddos!

Projects! Projects!

Daisy had to make a sculpture out of recycled materials...Brian said it was harder than helping with the pinewood derby...Ha Ha!!! Budd had to do a project on Shakespeare so he did a wordle...Fun stuff check it out www.wordle.net

Glen Ivy....Paradise

Went to Glen Ivy/Day Spa with a great friend for our birthdays...We are such professionals on mud, massages, and my new favorite drink the lava flow...ahhh I was feeling no pain!

Longbeach Grand Prix

Budd went to the Long Beach Grand Prix this year with a classmate... Brian and I haven't even been how lucky is he...they had a full day of cars and the long beach aquarium what an awesome day!

Pinewood derby

Brody just loves boyscouts! It is something that is just for him to shine!!! He came in first in the pinewood derby and goes to the district to represent his pack! Go BRODY!

Easter Time

What a happy bunch! I cant wait to have grandchildren so I can go decorate eggs and then go home and leave my kids to pick up the mess! Guess what Daisy got in her basket? Yep press on nails! Hot Stuff! Yep, quite the lady!

Awana Games

Brody and Daisy played in the Awana games this year which is a fierce competition of game square against all the other churches in our area...With the great dedication of Miss Megan and her crew our group came in 2nd! The kids had a blast! Awana games are always so much fun!

Awana Bible Quiz

This was our first year at bible quiz! WOW it is amazing...They give the kids a reference in the bible and the kids have to recite the verse EXACTLY...Budd came in 4th place...I couldn't be more proud! Lots of studying and they make it a lot of FUN!!! Thank you Holt family!

Daisys St. Patricks Day Tea

Daisy and I went to a Daisy tea party with her girl scout troop...Her troop always does the cutest things...I love her leader Paulee, she is the best.

Kutless

Budd went to see his favorite band Kutless with his best buddy Cade...They also saw disciple, stellar kart, and esterlyn!!! Watch out World here our your future ROCKERS!

Brody is a SUPER STAR!

Brody got 1st place for his entry in our reflections program!! ...he didnt know he was getting a trophy and was quite surprised! All my kids got outstanding grades!!!!! Brodys school recognizes it in an award ceremony...Way to go!

Just went to a great birthday at March Air Reserve Base...They had the actual party in a hollowed out military plane..Cool stuff
