Budd at Winter Camp

Budd went to his 1st winter camp with our church this year and had a blast!!! I was a nervous wreck (like always) it was snowing so hard I was afraid they would have trouble getting into camp and if they got in then they would have trouble getting out...Thanks to their awesome bus drive they made it no problems!! And Budd didn't even get car sick...Wow!!! Now Budd has developed quite a reputation at camp as the salesman.. Of course I get differing stories depending on who I ask but I am told that he opens up shop in his bunk...I do send him with all sorts of fun stuff...neon bracelets and teeth, big funny sunglasses, candy, and such...What he doesn't sell of his own stash others come with their contributions and he sells their stuff...This year I was told he was even selling icicles from the side of the cabin for $5.00....Now he came home with no souvenirs and no money so I asked what happened to his so called earnings and he tells me that a portion went into offering (Good! Good!) and a portion went to his friend to buy a girl something from the gift shop...hmmmm.....Im not sure what to believe??? I do know that if you are having any type of fire sale and you want to hire some kid labor my son is the guy for the job..He can HUSTLE!

Father Daughter Sweetheart Dance

Kayla Lister made Daisy feel like a princess!! Thankyou Daisy got the cutest little flower wrist coursage...She loves getting flowers! but not nearly as much as she LOVES her daddy!!! off they go on their hot date...Dinner then to the sweetheart dance! Daisy had the best night!!!

Spongebob Valentines

Budd had to make a Valentine "holder" for his February project for school..So he made a 3D Spongebob eating Valentine holder...It was really fun and he was very proud of it!!!! This picture is him and his BEST buddy Cade! They both soooo need a haircut!

Valentines Day

Daisy went with me to El Paso and was very upset that she was going to miss her Valentines party at school...So we just had to create our own party there...She had her cousins over and they all wore read..We did some painting, tattooing, making valentines, and making very yummy red cookies (Thanks MOM!) All is good!

My grandmother just passed away and though hard to say goodbye we find comfort in knowing she is with my grandpa Bud in heaven!

Super Bowl 2009

Stayed home today and watched the Super Bowl as a family! We got lots of snacks...Have belly aches to prove it.. We decided we all needed to wager on the game...Had stakes for every quarter 1st quarter winner...Get a long bath that night (that's a big thing cause we usually do quick showers!) Daisy WON! 2nd quarter winner...Get to stay up a 1/2 hour later for bedtime...Daisy WON! 3rd quarter winner....next time we go on a family bike ride you choose the route...Daisy WON! 4th quarter winner...Family night ice cream...You choose the place....Daisy WON! Man O Man I'm so taking her to Vegas she was on Fire!!!!
